Where are you located and what are the
Parish Center hours?
St. Thomas of Villanova Parish Center is located at 1229
West Lancaster Avenue in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. The Parish Center
is open MON-FRI 9:00am-4:30pm. The office closes 12:05pm -12:45pm
daily. The Parish Center closes at 1:00pm on Fridays in July and
August only.
The parish has a church and a chapel. The
Villanova Church is located on the campus of Villanova
University. The
Rosemont Chapel is located on Lancaster Avenue in Rosemont, PA
What is the Mass schedule?
Sunday Liturgies:

Daily Liturgy-MON-FRI 12:05pm ; SAT 9:00am- Rosemont Chapel
Eucharistic Adoration is every first Friday following the daily liturgy.
Recitation of the Rosary after daily mass. Confessions are held every Saturday
after the 9:00am liturgy.

What parish events are there
for my child/children to attend?
Throughout the year St. Thomas of Villanova Parish sponsors
several events for children of all ages of our parish. The
Family Life Committee annually
hosts an Ice Skating Party, a Summer Splash Party and a Breakfast with Santa
event. The C.Y.O. program is offered through
St. Katherine of Siena
Parish in Wayne.
Also there are programs available for specific ages. A brief description
of these programs is available in our Faith
Formation brochure. Call the parish center for more details on any of these
programs.
What parish events are there
for Senior Citizens?
There are several events scheduled specifically for senior citizens
throughout the year at St. Thomas of Villanova. One example is monthly “Brown
Bag Lunches” where senior citizens are invited to bring their lunch and join
other senior citizens to hear a guest speaker on current topics. These events
are advertised in the parish bulletin as well as through mailings to
parishioners throughout the year. Check the bulletin for more details on
specific events. If you are homebound and would like a copy of the bulletin
mailed to you, please call the Parish Center at 610-525-4801.
I can’t get to Mass this week,
how can I get my contribution counted in the offertory?
Contributions can be mailed to the parish:

Please be sure your name and date for contribution are listed on your envelope.
Any collection envelope can be mailed to the parish if you are not able to
attend the Liturgy, (e.g. Peter’s Pence, Holy Land, Catholic Charities, etc.)
You can also set up electronic donations by printing out and completing the
Electronic Stewardship Form and either mail it to the Parish Center
or drop it in the offertory basket addressed to Business Manager, Karen Farley.

HOW DO I BECOME A PARISHIONER
All parishes in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia have boundaries.
The St. Thomas of Villanova boundaries are:
Old Gulph Rd. from Matsonford Rd. to Roberts Rd.; to Robinhood Rd.; to Yorkshire Rd.; to Wyldhaven Rd.;to Marlbridge Way; to Ithan Ave.; to Clyde Rd.; to Sproul Rd.;to Chandler Lane; to Sproul Rd.; to Conestoga Rd.; to Radnor-Chester Rd.; to Matsonford Rd.;to Old Gulph Rd.
If you live within these boundaries, please come to the Parish Center MON-FRI 9:00am-4:30pm to fill out the registration form. (The office closes 12:05pm -12:45pm daily. The Parish Center closes at 1:00pm on Fridays in July and August only )
Our pastor, Fr. Richard T. O’Leary likes to meet with all new parishioners who register. If he is not available, another member of the parish staff will meet with you. If you are unable to come in during these hours, please call the Parish Center 610-525-4801 to make other arrangements.

HOW DO I BECOME A SPONSOR FOR BAPTISM OR CONFIRMATION
To be eligible to be a Baptismal Sponsor or Confirmation Sponsor you must be a registered member of St. Thomas of Villanova Parish who is:
If you meet these requirements, you can call the Parish Center to have a Certificate for Sponsorship completed. You must pick up this certificate at the Parish Center as it must be signed and witnessed by a parish staff member.
HOW DO I ARRANGE A FUNERAL
You should first notify your funeral director and they will contact the Parish to make the arrangements. If you have any questions or concerns, or don’t know a funeral director to call, you can call the Parish Center 610-525-4801.

After verification, the certificates can be mailed to you or picked up in the Parish Center at no cost.
HOW DO I REQUEST A COPY OF MY TAX DEDUCTIABLE CONTRIBUTIONS
Tax information statements are mailed to all parishioners by the end of January each year.

HOW DO I REQUEST AN ANNOUNCED MASS
Visit the Parish Center Mon-Fri 9:00am-4:30pm to arrange an announced Mass. (The office closes 12:05pm -12:45pm daily. The Parish Center closes at 1:00pm on Fridays in July and August only )
The cost is currently $10.00 and dates for 2010 Masses will be available beginning November 2, 2009. There are some dates still available for 2009.
